Grown slowly in the UK's orchards and hedgerows, it develops a dense, fine-textured grain and a stunning colour palette that ranges from warm reddish-honey through to deep plum-brown streaks — often with a beautiful rippled or wavy figure running through the board that catches the light and adds real depth to finished pieces.
Because plum trees rarely grow large or perfectly straight, usable timber is genuinely scarce, making every board and log we offer a one-off.
